Itinerary

  • Welcome to Marrakech, Morocco’s vibrant “Red City.” Centuries-old medinas create an unforgettable first impression.
  • Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver and English-speaking guide and transferred to your Riad/Hotel. Spend the afternoon at leisure, settling into Morocco’s warm hospitality.
  • For early arrivals, In the evening, enjoy an optional visit to Jemaa el-Fnaa, Marrakech’s legendary main square. As dusk settles, the square transforms into a lively stage filled with storytellers, snake charmers,
    food stalls, and street performers an experience that immediately immerses you in Moroccan
    magic.

Overnight: Jaal Riad Resort or Similar

  • After breakfast, depart for the rocky lunar landscapes of the Agafay Desert (approx. 45 minutes). Unlike the Sahara, Agafay offers dramatic stone plains and sweeping views of the Atlas Mountains.
  • Upon arrival, settle into your luxury tented camp, surrounded by vast, open horizons and tranquil desert beauty. The afternoon is at leisure, sip traditional mint tea on your private deck, explore the dramatic terrain on camelback, or opt for an exhilarating ATV adventure across the desert plains. (optional)
  • As the sun sets, the desert transforms into a golden spectacle before giving way to a sky scattered with stars. Enjoy a gourmet dinner under the open sky.

Overnight: Bedouin Camp or Similar Hotel

  • Wake up in the peaceful Agafay Desert and return to Marrakech after breakfast.
  • Upon arrival, begin a full-day private guided tour of the city.
  • Visit Majorelle Garden, a beautifully designed botanical garden known for its vibrant blue architecture and exotic plants. The garden was restored by Yves Saint Laurent. Continue to the nearby Yves Saint Laurent Museum, which showcases his work and connection to Morocco.
  • Admire the Koutoubia Mosque (exterior visit), the largest mosque in Marrakech and an important city landmark. Then visit Ben Youssef Madrasa, a historic Islamic college known for its detailed tilework and carved wood architecture.
  • Later, walk through Marrakech’s traditional souks, where narrow lanes are filled with spices, lanterns, leather goods, carpets, and local handicrafts. Meet artisans and learn about Morocco’s traditional craftsmanship.

  • After breakfast, depart for a full-day excursion to the Atlas Mountains, known for their dramatic landscapes and traditional Berber culture.
  • Drive through scenic valleys, mountain roads, and small waterfalls before reaching remote Berber villages. These villages are home to Morocco’s indigenous communities who have preserved their traditions for generations.
  • Visit a local Berber home and enjoy traditional mint tea while learning about their daily life, customs, and heritage. Optional guided walks are available for those who wish to explore the surrounding valleys and terraced fields while enjoying panoramic mountain views.

Return to Marrakech in the evening.

  • You may choose to experience a traditional Moroccan hammam, a cleansing and relaxation ritual that has been part of local culture for centuries. Alternatively, join an optional Moroccan cooking class and learn how to prepare classic dishes such as tagine and couscous using traditional spices and techniques.
  • You can also spend time wandering through the medina, exploring hidden courtyards, cafés, and artisan shops. Marrakech is known for its handcrafted Berber carpets, metal lanterns, ceramics, leather goods, and jewellery. Your guide can assist with recommendations and help with bargaining if needed.

  • After breakfast, depart from Marrakech and travel to Rabat, Morocco’s elegant and coastal capital city.
  • Upon arrival, begin a guided tour of the city’s key landmarks. Visit Hassan Tower, an unfinished 12th-century minaret that remains one of Rabat’s most important historical monuments. Continue to the nearby Mausoleum of Mohammed V, known for its beautiful white marble architecture and royal significance.
  • Later, explore the charming Kasbah of the Udayas, a historic fortress with narrow lanes and white-and-blue houses overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
  • In the evening, relax at your riad or enjoy a walk along Rabat’s peaceful boulevards.

  • Upon arrival, begin exploring Fes el-Bali, the UNESCO-listed old medina known for its narrow lanes, traditional souks, and centuries-old architecture. It is one of the world’s largest car-free urban areas and a true reflection of Morocco’s heritage.
  • Visit the impressive Royal Palace gates (exterior), followed by Bou Inania Madrasa, a 14th-century Islamic school known for its detailed tilework and carved cedarwood. Continue to the historic Nejjarine Fountain, a beautifully decorated public fountain in the heart of the medina.
  • End the tour at the famous Chouara Tannery, where leather is still dyed using traditional methods passed down for generations.
